The only Coastguard Boat House on Belfast Lough Details

The only Coastguard Boat House on Belfast Lough offers people an unique stay.  It is can sleep up to 4 adults (from the same family) as it consists of a king sized bed and a double bed (in the bedroom)  and in the front room a sofa bed.  We are dog, baby and children friendly.

The Belfast Boat House has a power shower, sink/toilet with authentic Belfast brick on the shower walls, and we provide towels and many other conveniences visitors may need. 

The Belfast Boat House kitchen is fully fitted out with a oven/hob, toaster, kettle, microwave, TV (with cable tv), fridge freezer and washer/drier.  We provide all kitchen utensils and the Boat House has continuous hot running water.   There is a dining and sitting area  - looking out to Belfast Lough. Outdoor drying facilities are also provided (and the sea breeze dries clothes quickly.)

We have a shower and sun shade (available in Spring, summer and Autumn - weather permitting) offering a outdoor eating experience. 

There is free, unlimited, continuous wi-fi - and for visitors who need to work when they are away we provide a desk, desk light and chair, so work on a laptop can be comfortably accommodated. 

Electric heaters are installed so guests can choose and maintain a temperature which suits them throughout their stay. We also provide (in Winter) a little electric stove to add some further character to the room.  A fan is available in the summer but we find the sea breeze and our air vents and windows do the same job. 

On arrival guests can expect (complimentary) biscuits, coffee, fresh milk and tea, Tayto crisps and Tayto chocolate.  When we can we also offer dulce (local seaweed) for guests to try when available !

For dog owners we offer drinking and eating bowls, poop bags, a little doggy towel, a spare lead and torch. 

For babies, we have a high chair and travel cot available on request, a changing mat, sippy cup and toddler bowels, we can add safety plugs to sockets and corner safety square (if needed.) We also have some baby toys we bring out of quarantine. For older kids there is a bucket and spade, fishing nets, pirate themed books and a pirate hat.  All the better to explore ship wrecks with! 

We live nearby so can be on hand to help with any unexpected issues and offer Covid safe self check in and a non-contact stay.
