We try hard to go that extra mile to make our guests comfortable and offer for your comfort:

On arrival we offer tea, coffee, biscuits and famous Tayto crisps. For week long stays we will also provide some wheaten bread or cake!

Guests with additional needs

The Boat House is all one level with no steps to access it. The doors are sufficiently wide for a wheel chair and the space is suitable for people who can bare their own weight for a period. We also provide a shower chair. There are no rugs or carpets in the Boat House and lights etc area at a wheel chair level. We can also move some of the furniture for you (desk and bedside cabinets) if you need more space. If you have additional requirements please feel free to contact us so we can make sure the space works for you.

Parking

A dedicated car parking space is provided for one car only.

Pillows

We leave a variety of pillows in the Boat House but if you prefer a firmer or lighter pillow or an additional pillow let us know. We also have feather pillows.
All pillows are anti-allergy and have protectors on them (which are washed after each stay.) We provide blankets and throws in the boat house for every stay to make the place extra cosy. Our king sized bed is extra long (European sized.) There is also a double and a sofa bed in the living room/kitchen area. please note the double bed is not a sprung bed - the king sized is.

Heating

We have electric heaters which are controlled by you (via remote control) this facilitates you in deciding what temperatures suits you best during your stay. Instructions are offered in the Boat House but if you want a demo just ask.

Self Catering
The kitchen is fully equipped but if you are preparing a special meal and missing a utensil please don’t hesitate to reach out (between 10am-5pm.) If we have it, we will provide it (such as scales or a blender) The kitchen has an oven, stove, and extraction fan. We also have a microwave, coffee maker (nespresso) and french press. Salt and pepper, tomato sauce are also provided.

The Boat House has a smart tv with netflicks - the TV is on a hinged mechanism which allows you to watch a film - and take in the sea view.

For the doggies
There is a spare lead (with a light) and poo bags under the sink with a little towel for doggie feet. Also bowls for the dogs and a chopping board.

For the kids and babies
A high chair and cot bed is available.

Drying & washing clothes

Unfortunately it rains - sometimes a lot. never worry you can dry your clothes on our heated radiator, or during the summer on our washing line. We also have a washer drier in the Boat House.

Outdoor Space

We offer a lovely sea side outdoor space we some plants and a lovely view. This is a covered area, with a side screen for additional privacy (but please don't use when it is windy or leave up overnight.) please note, it is not a safety screen - so dogs and kids may well be able to escape from this space onto a private or the public road. We also have a bucket and spade. You have direct access to the coastal path from the slipway.
